took it up again

after a long break from digging, i took it up again b/c i needed dryad roots for alchemy mule. i dug up a stack in yhoator so far. I'm still digging, its just i start at a new game day, when i dig up the zone i return to town and wait til the next game day. It only takes 10-15 minutes to dig up the zone, which means 40-50 minutes of waiting.

I took the break for 1 major reason: the main money makers from digging took a nose dive in price around the first of March. Well, since then, Dryad Roots went up in price, Ebony/Maghonay Logs has returned to profitable levels, and Bone Chips are now selling at the price they were at prior to the crash. Only Petrified Logs have not returned to the price they were before, but they're on the way up again. The turnover rate has been high, as bone chips usually sell as soon as I put them on the AH, and the lumber within a day.

Rumor on the street also indicates that some of the major dig-botters on remora server were caught red-handed. I haven't seen 2 of the usual suspects in the jungles for a few days. The major botter from Rolanberry to Konschtat is still online but usually hides for few hours after a digging session (apparently that leg isn't as profitable when the only real money maker seems to be elm logs and mythril beastcoins). The Altepa botters are gone, but other diggers have taken their place.

one of my digging runs in yhoator yielded 6 Maghonany and 4 Ebony Logs, along with 2 stacks of bone chips. Best yield of the day from just 8 stacks of greens.
